Hi,
I’m Kate the owner of Purple Days. I’m mum to 3 kids, owned by 2 cats and have a long suffering husband! I live in Shepley, a small village on the outskirts of Huddersfield.
I have always enjoyed crafts, and have found that it helps my mental health to be able to sit and concentrate on being creative.
I have all sorts of craft making at home, crocheting, sewing, painting, card making, alongside this is my jewellery, keychains and quilling. The house is quite full and I’m sure my husband would like some of his house back! I couldn’t possibly sell all these things in my store so I whittled it down to the things I enjoyed the most, which is quilling, keychains and jewellery making.
My eldest moved out earlier this year and I now have my very own dedicated craft space, it’s been great as I can now make a mess and close the door at the end of the day and not have to clear the dining room table for us to eat.
I sell my products online and at craft fairs.
